The goats are Nigerian Pygme Mix, their names are; Marrie (male), Bitsy, Annie, and Averleigh. Their purpose is to graze and eat the poison ivy and overgrown shrubs. Their droppings are used in compost to benefit the planting of trees and such in the gardens. You will often see the goat herd roaming in the barnyard and if you’re fortunate enough they will come up to you and possibly chew on your clothes.
